At Riverbend Dreadlocks, I am dedicated to providing high-quality, professional dreadlock services using the Seienstyle holistic method. To ensure the best possible outcome and client satisfaction, I have the following service policy:
Mandatory Consultations for New Clients:

Prior to booking any initial dreadlock installation or significant service, all new clients are required to have a consultation. This allows us to thoroughly discuss your hair type, desired look, maintenance expectations, pricing, and any concerns you may have. This consultation is essential to ensure we can meet your needs and that you understand the process involved.
Deposits are Non-Refundable:

At Riverbend, I dedicate significant time and energy to each guest long before they sit in my chair. To honor the intentionality of my work and the space held on my calendar, all deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your date and covers the professional consultation time required to prepare for your specific project—including hair sourcing, color matching, and structural planning.
No Refunds on Services:

Due to the time, expertise, and personalized nature of our dreadlock services, I do not offer refunds on any completed services. By proceeding with an appointment after your consultation, you acknowledge your understanding of the agreed-upon service and pricing.
Puntuality & Billing

Services are charged at my established hourly rate, and the billing clock begins precisely at your scheduled appointment time; late arrivals will still be charged from the original scheduled start time.
Adjustments and Modifications:

Due to the permanent nature of dreadlock creation, significant adjustments or modifications are generally not possible once the installation process is complete. I strongly encourage clients to communicate any concerns or desired changes they foresee during their appointment while they are in the chair and receiving the service. My goal is to address these in real-time to ensure your satisfaction with the initial outcome.

If a client changes their mind after the dreadlock installation is finished or is unhappy with the final result and wishes to have the dreadlocks removed or to start over, this will require a separate Dreadlock Removal service. The client will be responsible for the cost of this removal service, as well as the cost of any subsequent dreadlock installation if they choose to have them redone.

Integrity of the Hair
My primary commitment is to the health of your hair and the connection with your natural self. I reserve the right to postpone or transition a service if the hair's integrity is at risk due to undisclosed chemical processing or damage. In these rare cases, the deposit will be held as a credit toward a future service once the hair has reached a restorative state.
Client Responsibility
To ensure a beautiful result, I require full transparency regarding recent chemical services and current hair photos. Changes in hair color or condition after a consultation may result in the need to reschedule or adjust the project scope.
General Policy:

Concerns During Appointment: If you have any concerns during your service, please communicate them to me immediately so they can be addressed before the service is completed.

Allergies and Sensitivities: It is your responsibility to inform me of any allergies or sensitivities you may have prior to your consultation. Reactions due to undisclosed allergies will not be grounds for any adjustments or considerations.

Changes After Departure: I am not responsible for changes or issues that arise due to at-home care or external factors after you leave the studio. I will provide detailed aftercare instructions.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: My cancellation and rescheduling policy (separate document/section) must be adhered to. Fees associated with this policy are non-refundable.

If you have any concerns about your service, please contact me directly as soon as possible to discuss them. I am committed to open communication and finding reasonable solutions whenever possible.
By booking a consultation and subsequent service with Riverbend Dreadlocks, you acknowledge and agree to this service policy.
